Crackin' times

1st November 2016
As part of their topic about animals and life cycles Miss Ross-Ballards group decided to try hatching some eggs in school. They borrowed an incubator from Mr. Phillips and some eggs from his chickens at home.

The class needed to research all the important information and track the environment in the incubator every day to make sure the chickens did hatch.

They managed to hatch 5 chicks and they now live outside of the classroom at school. They are really tame and it is really interesting watching them grow and change. Hopefully they will lay their own eggs in the not so distant future.
